Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and a Very Happy New Decade from me.

I believe we are going to do amazing work this year, the next decade and have fun in our personal and your professional endeavors

As you This is the time of the year the word “resolutions” come to the surface.

An 2018 article published in Forbes magazine reported studies have shown that less than 25% of people actually stay committed to their resolutions after just 30 days, and only 8% accomplish them. Don’t be part of that statistic. This year, set GOALS instead of resolutions.

Creativity is my word for this year and my goal is to create programs to help you accomplish your dressing style and wellness goals.

Let’s have fun and work on your goals from the outside in.

Here are 3 ways to help you stay on target to accomplish your goals beyond 30 days.

1. The power of 3

Set 3 big goals.

One of the three should you be one that stretches you and gives you butterflies. This is the goal that will make the biggest impact that raises your confidence and you are taking a big new giant step no matter what. This is your big Kahuna in 2020!

You can set two other goals to work toward as well.

Remember if you have more than 3 goals most likely you will neglect one of two of them and you may feel guilty or defeated.

2. Power of Post It…

Write your goals down and POST them everywhere….

Think of one word to represent each of your resolutions. Write the word in big letters and post it everywhere- in your home, your phone, car!.

For example, if you want to lose weight, you can make a sign with the word "health". Hang that word on your refrigerator, so that every time you reach for food you'll be reminded of your goal.

In addition, tell your family, friends, colleagues or your Facebook page. The more the brain sees this goal, it becomes a permanent connection which initiates the habit forming exercise.

3. Turn each into a monthly habit

Now that you have your 3 goals, find something that you can do, be, or have every day to work toward it. You can work on your biggest goal for one month and add the other month in addition to your first goal.

For example, that's how I started saying my daily morning prayers. I made a daily check off list vertically for each of my 3 goals and each day of the month is horizontal. Although I have missed some days, I have accomplished this goal at least 80%.
